LNG & Hydrogen + Ammonia event

All-encompassing event design

Liquified natural gas (LNG) exports involve the transportation of natural gas that has been cooled to a liquid state for shipping and storage and Hydrogen + Ammonia are both fuel elements that have the potential to play a role in a net zero economy.

The challenge

Building on the success of the first year, the second year of the LNG event was expanded to include a new topic, ‘Hydrogen and Ammonia’. Our challenge was to evolve the existing LNG branding while integrating the new theme. This required a comprehensive visual overhaul, encompassing all pre-event marketing materials and the event graphics themselves.

Our approach

Pre-event marketing graphics

For this initial phase, we needed to focus on generating interest and engagement leading up to the event, including branding, digital presence, and promotional materials.

Overall look and feel: We developed a refreshed brand identity that would resonate across all marketing platforms. This included designing a new visual style that would integrate both LNG and Hydrogen & Ammonia in a unified manner.

Website design: We created a dynamic and user-friendly website that served as the central hub for event information and updates. The design reflected the new dual-focus of the event.

Social media: We designed a series of posts and digital ads for LinkedIn and other platforms to build anticipation and drive engagement.

​Brochures and whitepapers: These materials were designed to provide detailed information about each topic, ensuring that potential delegates and sponsors had comprehensive and visually appealing resources.

Sponsor documents: We created tailored documents for sponsors, showcasing branding opportunities and the benefits of their involvement.

Event graphics

As the event approached, our focus shifted to designing the graphics and materials needed for the event itself:

Check-in kiosk graphics: We designed the graphics for an automated check-in kiosk that efficiently printed name badges, streamlining the registration process for attendees.

Custom sponsorship: Custom graphics were added to various items to highlight sponsor branding, ensuring that sponsors received prominent visibility throughout the event.

Wayfinding signage: Clear and effective wayfinding signage was created to help attendees navigate the venue with ease, improving their overall experience.

Sponsor signs: We designed various signs for sponsors to ensure their branding was prominently displayed and integrated throughout the event.

Staging design: Two sets of staging designs were developed for each of the event tracks, ensuring that each session had a distinct and professional visual identity.

Floorplans: Detailed floorplans were created to help attendees easily locate sessions, booths, and other key areas within the venue.

Competition leaflets: Graphics for competition leaflets were designed to engage attendees and provide essential information about event competitions.

The solution

To effectively represent the dual focus of the event, we used a strategic colour scheme and design approach that worked well. We chose blue for LNG and purple for Hydrogen & Ammonia to clearly differentiate the two topics. By combining these colours as accents with a clean white background, we created a sophisticated visual identity that captured the distinctiveness of each topic. The design enhanced the event’s visual appeal and ensured it integrated the new topic into the established brand framework.

 

This year-long project required careful planning, creativity, and execution across a broad range of deliverables. From the initial branding and pre-event marketing to the final event graphics, each phase was carefully designed to ensure an impactful event, increasing its overall success and appeal.
